Douglas, a striking gentleman
who has an appealing girlfriend in Kumasi has tried several times to overcome
his character flaw- chasing skirts. Though he loves Ama (his girlfriend)
profoundly, he occasionally chases different shades of skirts. Adobea, a co-
tenant knows how to torments men. She will
keep flashing her boobs and supple thighs anytime she sees Douglas and he will
quickly run to his room and put on three boxer shorts at once. She habitually comes to his room to watch
television in flimsy negligees; showcasing nipples and other body parts here
and there.
Before Douglas could come to
his right mind, they have started mounting and breaking beds. Officially, they
were an item. The other single sisters in the house were green-eyed but Adobea
was bent on making Douglas totally forget about his girlfriend again with wild

Three months on and Adobea has
not seen her period. She quickly alerted Douglass about the development. All
this while that Douglass was mounting and breaking bed with Adobea, he was
going for marriage counselling session at his church. His nuptial to his Kumasi
based girlfriend was approaching swiftly. Douglas persuaded Adobea with a lot
of money to abort but, Adobea wanted to have his child. All efforts on
Douglas’s side to make her abort the baby were unproductive.
Knowing the trouble he was in,
Douglas discussed his burden with his friend Ameyaw, who helped him hatch a
plan. Douglas invited some of his friends over and asked Adobea to come and
join them. Douglas purposely served Adobea a glass of Multifruita juice mixed
with drug he had purchased from one of the ladies who sell medicines in tray by
the roadside. They conversed and cracked jokes for hours until they all
departed. It was 3:47 am when a call
came through to Douglas from Adobea that she was bleeding profusely. She was rushed to hospital and was told she
had miscarried.
Two weeks later, Douglas
brought in his new wife. Adobea is bitter and wants to pick fight with Ama the
least chance she gets. As for Douglas, he moves around and behaves as if he has
not tasted Adobea’s river before!
