GHANA MAN AND PETTY TRICKS. EPISODE 1

THE WHITE –TURNED –TO - BLACK PUPPY

With all the information he had gathered from friends, family and on the internet, Hans Sanders, an expat consultant working on a new project was extremely awestruck to have landed a very lucrative job in Ghana, exactly so Accra. Though he adores checking out some interesting places in and outside Accra, he was bored stiff and secluded in his enormous well - equipped apartment located in one of the plush areas in Accra.

On his way to office along the Spintex road, Sanders spotted three kennels stuffed with puppies with bold inscription “BRO. YAW MENSAH- THE DOG FADDA. FOR SALE; DOG CHILDREN, DOG MOTHER AND DOG FADDA.  LOCAL AND ABROAD.  CALL 0210 56803680. Sanders struggled to comprehend what DOG FADDA meant, nevertheless, he asked his chauffeur to stop. He walked to Bro. Yaw Mensah to ask if he can get a white puppy to buy. Unluckily, Bro Yaw was out of stock of white puppies, then again, he assured Mr. Sanders to stop by the next day for his order. True to his assurance, Mr. Sanders received his new white puppy.

Sanders couldn’t keep his hands of his new companion. A week later, Sanders took a stroll with his white puppy at Labadi beach and he was thunder- stricken when his white puppy which it had ran into the sea came out black. Wonders shall never cease in GH!!  Apparently, Bro. Yaw sprayed or coated the black puppy white and sold it to Sanders. What kind of paint or spray Bro. Yaw used?  I am astounded as you are.

Sanders was  full of optimism that he will see Bro. Yaw at his usual spot and tell him his peace of mind, but DOG FADDA was nowhere to be traced. He just had to enjoy the miracle white-turned –into - black puppy for the rest of his stay in Ghana.

If you want to buy a puppy, please go to pet shop and not from the roadside!
